NOTICE. TAKEN up and committed to the Public Jail of Davie county, Calvin, a slave the property of Solomon Hall, decd., and says that he was hired to Capt. Boyd, of Salisbury, the 1st of January 1865. Said boy is about [illegible] years old, 5 feet 7 inches high, has a sma[illegible] scar over his left eye, and weighs about 16[illegible] lbs. Said boy was committed on the 16th ins[illegible]. The owner of said slave is hereby notified [illegible] forward, pay charges and get said slave. WM. A. MERONEY, Sh'ff. March 29, 1865. 6td266
