$2,000 REWARD! BROKE THE JAIL OF GRANVILLE COUNTY ON Sunday night the 19th inst., and escaped, WILLIAM and HENDERSON, slaves of James Cooper, who were confined under sentence of death for Rape. WILLIAM is a black, thick, heavy boy, about 25 years old, full face, about 5 feet 8 inches high. HENDERSON is dark drown, low, heavy built, about 5 feet 4 or 5 inches high; about 23 years old. I will pay Two Thousand dollars for their apprehension and delivery to me, or confined in any jail so I can get them, or one thousand for either. W. A. PHILPOTT, Sheriff of Granville County.
