C. on the 27th of July last, a Negro Man aged about 60 years, who calls himself JOHN, says he belongs to Dan'l. [Daniel] McRae, that he left his master near Charlotte, N. C. on his way to Mississippi. John has a deformed thumb, dark complection, gray headed.
