NOTICE. Ten Dollars Reward! RANAWAY from the subscriber, on the 8th of April last, a negro boy, named JIM, between twenty-four and thirty years old, about six feet high, bright mulatto--which boy was raised by Joseph Sheppard, of Macon county, where his father and mother live, and where he will resort. I am informed he has a wife at Love's quarter, where he also has been seen--which negro boy was purchased by me from Joseph Shepperd[sic], of Yancey county, where he was seen last Court. Any person that will apprehend said negro and lodge him in the jail of either of the two above mentioned counties, or in the jail of Waynesville and send me word, I will pay them ten dollars, or any person who will bring him to me shall receive a reward of twenty dollars.
