Fifty Dollars Reward. RAN AWAY from the Subscriber, on the 10th instant, his Negro Man PETER.-- Said negro is about twenty-one years of age, black complexion, high forehead, a good set of teeth, has an impediment in his speech, and when he is closely examined or agitated stutters. He had cut one of his feet a few days before he left. He is a Blacksmith by trade, is about 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, and his clothing as follows: One mixed Coat, one Sattinett Coat, mixed Waiscoat half worn, black silk Waistcoat, one pair of Tickling Pantaloons, striped lengthwise, of northern suff, also one pair Tow and Cotton, home manufacture, also a half worn Fur Hat and a black Leather Cap. It is supposed he will attempt to go to some non-slave holding State, probably Indiana, as he obtained a free negro Pass in the name of JAMES WEAVER, dated some four or five years ago. No doubt he will call his name Weaver. It is supposed that he will attempt to follow after or go with some emigrants who left the neighborhood about the time he did. The above Reward will be given if taken out of the State, or TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS if taken within the State, and delivered to me in Chatham county, near St. Lawrence P. Office, or put in any Jail so that I get him again. JOHN HEADEN.
