The Ellegoods, who reside in Laurel Sussex County, Delaware, note that the said Rachel “has a Daughter living at Laurel and is willing to be removed into this State.”  They therefore ask that a law be passed \"authorizing & impowering your petitioner to bring the afsd negro Rachel from Worcester County in the state of Maryland into this State and hold her as a Slave.\"","subjects":[{"subject":"Family separated (Black)"},{"subject":"Family kept together (Black)"}]}]}
