Ayres Stockly of Kent County, Delaware, inherited twenty-one-year-old Bob and seventeen-year-old Charles from his father's estate. Stockly represents that said slaves "still remain in Accomack county Virginia, where they are of little advantage to him and that he wishes to employ them in Kent County in his own service." The petitioner therefore prays "that a bill may be passed to authorize him to bring them into this State."
