Abstract
Sarah Marin represents that "a very valuable negro slave belonging to your petitioner was executed in July last in the town of Camden on conviction for being concerned in the intended insurrection of the blacks in that place." She therefore prays "that she may be allowed such reasonable compensation therefor as your honorable body shall decree adequate."
