William Speer, executor of the estate of Daniel Anderson, seeks compensation for Frank, Harry, and Esaw, three of Anderson's slaves who were convicted of murdering the said Anderson. Speer reports that their execution took place on 8 November 1833 and that a petition for compensation was submitted to the last session of the legislature. Noting that said petition and certificate were lost, the petitioner prays "that you will grant such relief as the law has provided."
