Abstract
Jasper Graham represents "that your petitioner & his wife Mary were for a great number of years servants of the late John Graham Esq. of Richmond" and that the said Graham "in consideration of their faithful services was pleased to direct their emancipation." The petitioner "therefore prays that an act may pass your honorable body permitting him & his wife Mary to reside within this commonwealth."
