Stephen Kindral, "a free man of colour born and decended from Sally Kindral a free white woman in the State of North Carolina," sues Anthony Stoutenborough for freedom. Kindral states that while in his infancy he was bound out "untill he arrived to the age of twenty one years." However, before attaining said age, he was "sold by the person to whom he was bound to one Deshazo as a slave and taken from the State of North Carolina to the State of Georgia." After Deshazo died, he was again sold and now is held by Anthony Stoutenborough of Bibb County, Alabama. Kindral asks the court to award him his freedom.
Result: Denied.
