Armstrong asserts that in 1844, Sarah moved to Mississippi, \"without any just or reasonable cause,\" taking her slaves and still in control of her real estate.  Armstrong, who \"is now advanced in life being over sixty,\" asks that his six children by a previous marriage receive their fair share of his sixteen hundred acres of land, fifteen slaves, and other property, worth more than six thousand dollars.
