Abstract
Ellen M. Weakley and other executors of the estate of James H. Weakley, deceased, request permission to sell thirty slaves to pay off debts. Most of the other property in the estate consists of stocks, which could not be sold for a profit. The slaves, primarily young children and teenagers, on the other hand, will bring returns "fully up to their market value."
