A. M. Day and Eli N. Ford, administrators of the estate of Martin H. Day, deceased, ask to keep the "Lands, Negroes, Stock &c" of the estate together during the year. The "present disturbances of our public affairs," he said, would prevent the property from bringing anything like its real value. When the estate is sold, it should be sold at the same time, including the twenty-seven slaves.
