Elizabeth Camp, widow of Martin Camp, asserts that she is entitled to one third of the lands and personal property that her husband owned at the time of his death on 19 July 1860. She therefore prays that three commissioners be appointed "to lay off and assign her said dower in the property aforesaid." The receipt from the guardian of Camp's minor children establishes that the said children jointly own two slaves named Crisy and Lue.
