Francis Register asks to export and sell the remainder of the term of his apprentice, Jacob Fisher, who keeps "with him a large knife for the avowed purpose of taking your petitioners life." Revealing that Fisher once ran away, Register hoped that Fisher "would never return." When Fisher came back, the petitioner asserts that he was "apparently for the sole purpose of disturbing the peace of your petitioners family." Fisher, who is "in the habit of stealing," is now in jail threatening revenge against his master.
