Nancy Folsom states that following the death of her husband, Ebenezer Folsom, Hardy Moore took over administration of his estate. She charges that Moore's inventory of the estate did not represent its full value. Folsom further charges that Moore did not pay the debt he owed to the estate and that he sold Bob, a slave of the estate, without just cause. The petitioner therefore asks that the court order an accurate accounting of the estate; that her dower be set aside; and that Bob be returned to the estate. Additionally, Folsom asks the court to subpoena Hardy Moore to answer charges of mismanagement as well as Andrew Moore, the purchaser of Bob.
