Eliza Gibbons, administratrix of the estate of Moncraff Bruton, asks permission to sell three slaves left in the estate. Stating that the slaves are "of but little use to the minors at this time" and that "two of them are quite advanced in age," Gibbons believes that "it is for the best interest of said minors that the said negroes should be sold and the money arising from such sales placed at interest for such minors until such time as they respectively become of age."
