Abstract
William D. Barnes asks the court to "grant him letters of administration" upon the estate of John R. Waddill who died on 10 September 1861. Waddill "left a will" disposing of his estate, which consists of "a large amt of property both real and personal," and named his sister Anastasia S. Waddill as executrix. Anastasia has "declined to qualify as such executrix and desires your petitioner to qualify as administrator with the will annexed."
