Abstract
George Cox was the owner of Fed, an adult male slave, deemed $600 in value, whom he "casually lost." Fed was later found in the possession of Dempsey Hall. Cox claims that while Hall knew that Fed belonged to him, he "did convert the Said Negro to his own use to the damage of your petitioner twelve hundred dollars." Cox asks for intervention on his behalf.
Result: Dismissed.
