Abstract

Richard Paulett alleges that David Paulett "hath indamaged your petitioner in the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars." As administrator to the estate of Jesse Paulett, Richard Paulett "casually lost" a slave named Dick as well as other property, which came into the possession of David Paulett "by finding." Richard claims that David, with intent to defraud, "converted" the slave and other property "to his own use." Richard Paulett is suing for $1,500 in damages.
