Abstract
Judith Huson is the executrix of David Huson's estate. In this capacity, she had possession of a male slave named Harbert of an estimated value of $800. She contends that she "casually lost" the slave, who came into the possession of Archer Mathews. Huson alleges that Mathews knew that the slave belonged to the estate, but with intent to deceive, refused to return Harbert. Huson sues for $1,600 in damages.
Result: Nonsuit.
