Abstract
George Pollack was the administrator of Lucy Thomas's estate, which included thirty slaves. They were valued at $14,000, collectively. He lost the slaves, who came into the possession of Josiah Scott. Pollack alleges that Scott knew that the slaves belonged to the estate, but he has refused to return them and has "converted & disposed of the said negro slaves to his own use." Pollack sues for $20,000 in damages.
