Abstract
Ralph and Mary Stafford Bozeman allege that Levin F. Chain and Arthur A. Morgan owe them $5,000. They contend that the defendants endangered Mary when she was a widow, by stealing, "with force and arms," twelve slaves and several other items of property, valued at $4,000, collectively. Charging that the defendants have converted the property to their own use, the Bozemans sue for $8,000 in damages.
