Petition #20685521

Abstract

Joel Duse and William Dickson, the petitioners, acting as security for John M. Ware's performance as administrator of the estate of the late Alfred B. Spring, state that Ware is not only "wasting the effects of his said intestate," including slaves, but he has also fled the region. The petitioners fear that they will be made liable for Ware's debts since they were his security. They ask the court to issue an order that will relieve them of the threat of financial injury.
