John Anderson is trustee of Francis Ellen Anderson Gorden and Mary Lawrence Anderson. The trust consists of one slave, Dublin, who was a gift from Robert S. Anderson. The petitioner seeks permission to sell the slave so that his value may be divided between Francis and Mary, due to the fact that Francis is now married and needs the value of her share of the slave.
