Abstract
Sam Barnett and O. S. Battle, executors of the estate of Isaiah T. Irvin, wish to resign their positions. They claim that "the parties directly interested" wish to run the estate on their own. Barnett and Battle further state that "[t]he amount of the Estate has been greatly reduced by the abolition of slavery."
