Rebecca Looney states that she is entitled to alimony because her husband Robert abandoned her. However, she does not believe that he will provide it voluntarily because of "the undue influence of the said Jno Edwards & others over the mind of her said Husband." She asks the court to award her alimony and petitions for an injunction to prevent interference by the defendants, if the court does not grant her previous request which asks that her husband's property, including slaves, be placed in the hands of trustees.
