Lewis Smyser and Joseph D. Smith are the administrators of the estate of Peter Smith Sr. The estate -- consisting of four slaves, other personal property, and various real estate in several counties -- is estimated to be worth more than eleven thousand dollars. After selling property and several tracts of land in Bullitt and Jefferson counties, the administrators seek to liquidate the remaining estate and distribute the proceeds to the heirs.
