- Court: Circuit
Abstract
Richard Rose states that he purchased "a Negro woman slave named Sarah" from John Eatherly for $800 on 15 April 1853. Rose charges that Eatherly sold Sarah knowing she "had epileptic fits." Stating that Eatherly and James Young are joint owners of two hundred acres of land, the petitioner names Young as a defendant, seeks an attachment of the land, and $600 in damages.
