Mary A. Warren, the widow and administratrix of John G. Warren, informs the court that John is also survived by six "infants under the age of 21 years." Warren contends that three female slaves in his estate "are vicious and ungovernable." Believing that the interests of the children "will be promoted by a sale of the said slaves," the petitioner requests that Ann, Lovinia and Lucinda be sold and "a reinvestment of the proceeds of the same" be sanctioned.
