Eli T. Dustin died intestate on 14 November 1849, survived by his widow Ellen and his three minor children. Ellen was appointed administratrix of the estate, which included a slave. The petitioners ask for a full audit of the estate's accounts and confirmation that investment property on 5th Street is for Ellen's sole use and benefit. They also request that the dower portion of the estate be assigned to the said Ellen.
