Abstract

Louis Augustin Muillian represents that he sold “a Negro man Slave named Scipion aged about Fifty years-- and native of Africa” to Joseph Mollere Sr. for $800. Mollere agreed to pay the sum by March 1807 but he has yet to do so. Muillian prays that Mollere be ordered to pay the debt plus interest and court costs.

Result: Summons issued.
