Antoine Benjamin, Baptiste DuBourg, and Pierre Marly, all three free men of color, ask the court to order the sheriff to post the notices required by law for the emancipation of their forty-six-year old male slave, Pierre. They present to the court that they are emancipating Pierre as a reward for his good services [Original in French].
