After the death of David White, his estate property, including eight slaves, was delivered to David Holster and his wife Silvia.  By a previous suit, the Louisiana Supreme Court had ordered Silvia and David Holster to pay the Whites their portion of the estate.  Silvia and David Holster however never paid the Whites and continued to hold the slaves.  Since the Supreme Court ruling, David Holster has died and Silvia has married William Young.  The Whites believe that the Youngs are now in the \"pursuit of Embezeling or transporting” the slaves out of the state for the “purpose of defrauding” them of their rights and claim.  The Whites enter this supplemental petition to request that William Young be made a party to the suit and that the slaves be sequestered by the sheriff pending settlement.","subjects":[{"subject":"Title dispute (enslaved)"},{"subject":"Property owners (women)"}]}]}
