Abstract
Pierre Maurel presents to the court that he is "willing to Emancipate" his thirty-four-year-old female slave named Adele. He declares that Adele has always "served him faithfully & never was guilty of any criminal fault" or of running away. He therefore asks the court to order that the "usual advices" be posted up "according to law."
Result: Granted.
