Abstract
Jeanne Gravier, a free woman of color, asks the court to order posting of the emancipation notices required by the law to free Joseph, her thirty-one-year old slave, who is also her son. Jeanne vouches that Joseph’s conduct has been "irréprochable" and he has never tried to run away [Original in French; Docket in English].
