Abstract
Adèle Goginet presents that she is "desirous to grant" liberty to her forty-six-year-old female slave named Rosette in consideration of Rosette's "faithful services." Goginet vouches that Rosette has not been guilty of running away or any other misdemeanor during her many years of service. She asks the court to "grant the requisite order," so that the sheriff may "cause the necessary publications" to be made.
