Abstract
Antoine Lacour, a free man of color, is in possession of a tract of land situated partly in the parish of Iberville and partly in the parish of West Baton Rouge. He charges that one Firmin Guidry has been in the habit of trapping the said land for the past twenty-five years. In addition, Guidry is stripping the land of usable firewood, causing $1,000 in damages. Lacour therefore asks for an injunction against Guidry from removing any more firewood while Lacour prepares his case for eviction.
