Abstract
Drury L. Mitchell, a free man of color, claims that he paid $93 of "advance money" to various parties on behalf of Henry O'Connor, also a free man of color, but O'Connor has never repaid him "although amicably Demanded." Mitchell therefore prays for an order directing O'Connor to pay the debt, plus interest at 5% per annum.
Result: Granted; motion to set aside; plea of reconvention.
