Abstract
The petitioners are Eliza L. Hoover, widow of the late Henry Hoover, tutrix of their minor children, and administratrix of his estate, Jacob Hoover, tutor of the late Hoover’s minor daughter from a previous marriage, and Sarah C. Hoover Daniels, the late Hoover’s married daughter from the same previous marriage. The petitioners represent that Hoover’s estate was partitioned in 1849 and distributed among all the heirs to everyone’s satisfaction. The estate includes two plantations and seventy-sevem slaves. The petitioners therefore pray that “all the proceedings of partition and settlement” be homologated and confirmed.
