Abstract
Marie Anaïse Metoyer, a free woman of color, represents that her husband, Charles Nerestan Roques Jr., recently departed this life “in testate,” leaving considerable property and five minor children. She prays for an order of inventory and appraisement of the property and seeks to be confirmed as “natural tutrix” of her children. She also seeks the appointment of an “under tutor.”
