"The petition of Celise Jacques f.w.c. respectfully represents that she is the owner of one undivided 3/4 of nine bales of cotton, of one hundred and thirty barrels of corn, which were made on her land, and of household furniture except one bed, which were appraised and Inventoried as the property of Jean Baptiste Desmarais deceased, and which are advertised by Israel Guillory of said Parish to be sold at public auction on Saturday the 19th of June of 1858, to all of which she objects and makes opposition. The premises considered she prays that Israel Guillory administrator be cited, That a writ of injunction issue prohibiting him from selling said property, that said property be decreed to be hers, That the defendant pay the costs, and finally she prays for general relief."
