Abstract
Edmond D'Arensbourg presents to the court that his "legitimate" wife, Estelle, died in 1848 and their surviving children, three minor children daughters, are without a tutor or "undertutor." He claims that he is entitled to their "natural tutorship" and asks to be confirmed as such. He also asks that an undertutor be appointed. The D'Arensbourgs are free people of color.
