Abstract
The petitioners state they are "unjustly detained as Slaves by Susannah Elliott and Rachel Elliott," executrixes of the estate of the late John Elliott. They therefore pray "your Honours to Grant them a Subpoena against the said Susannah and Rachel to answer to their complaint aforesaid and to give them such Relief herein as to your Honours may seem meet."
Result: Denied; appealed; affirmed.
