Abraham Egleston states that several years ago he was apprenticed to William Davidson. He claims that "he is in great distress for want of Cloathing, and Victuals, and in every respect Treated worse than most Slaves are. neither has he been taught the Trade of a Joiner agreeable to the Articles of his Indenture." Egleston asks the court to intervene and grant him whatever relief they deem sufficient.
