Abstract
On 12 August 1806, John Campbell became indebted to Dr. Daniel Jenifer for the sum of £464.6.5.1 and $3,000. Daniel Jenifer died intestate in 1809 and Daniel [of St. Thomas] Jenifer was appointed executor. John Campbell paid a portion of the first debt, but the $3,000 with interest "remains wholly due & unpaid." Daniel [of St. Thomas] Jenifer asks the court to subpoena Campbell and to compel him to pay the remaining debt, plus interest.
Result: Granted pro confesso.
