Petition #20981116
- Baltimore County, Maryland. April 12, 1811. - June 13, 1811.
- Court: Orphans
- Salutation: To the worshipful the Justices of the Orphans Court for Baltimore County
Abstract
The petitioners, four of whom are maternal cousins of Thomas Thuat, state that they are the legal representatives of the estate of Thomas Thuat of the island of Santo Domingo, a British colony. They therefore ask the court to order Isaac McKim, administrator of the estate, to pay over the residue of the estate after making a final settlement. Testimony in documents relating to the case indicates that Thuat had an illegitimate daughter, Mrs. Ray del Mas, by a free woman of color named Martha or Subar.
Result: Dismissed.
