Abstract
John Mercer is the guardian of Henry and Nicholas Darnall, the minor children and "Devisees & legatees of Bennitt Darnall (deceased)." Mercer says that John Thomas Shaaff, executor of slave owner Bennett [Bennitt] Darnall's estate, has some property from the estate "proper for the management of the Estate of the said Henry & Nicholas Darnall." Mercer asks the court to order Shaaff to transfer the property "to your petitioner as Guardian aforesaid."
