Abstract
Richard Chenowith petitions the court to subpoena Jacob Eichelberger to appear in court and to honor the terms of a $159 mortgage secured by Chenowith's slave, Nicholas. Chenowith alleges that he has repaid the debt, but that Eichelberger continues to hold Nicholas and benefit from his services as a miller.
